Virginia will name Cintra Infraestructuras private partner in its US Route 460 Corridor Improvements Project in a meeting today. Old Dominion designated Route 460 a ‘high priority’ PPP in 2003.

The Carlyle Group has ended its bid to be private operator of the Port of Virginia. The private equity firm nixed filling out a RFP to compete for the port mandate after an internal review.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has said a P3 is being implemented to fix a building at Louisiana State University. The project has been valued at $100m.

Indiana University is about to open bidding on its campus parking system. The US public school is considering a 30-to-50-year concession agreement.
